Attending the meeting were comrades: Duong Anh Duc, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Tran Trong Dung, Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association in charge of the South; Pham Quy Trong, Deputy Head of Department 3 of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Le Van Minh, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Tang Huu Phong, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

On the side of Thai Nguyen province, there were comrades: Bui Van Luong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Do Thi Minh Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.
Informing the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City, comrade Bui Van Luong said that the socio -economic situation of the province in 2025 has overcome many difficulties and achieved positive results. The economic growth rate (GRDP) is estimated at 8.5%; the industrial production value exceeds 1 million billion VND.
The province is among the top 5 localities in the country in terms of export turnover, with nearly 30 billion USD; budget revenue of over 26,000 billion VND. Notably, the province has completed 6,953 houses for poor households, contributing to strengthening social security.


This year, the province was heavily affected by the circulation of storm No. 11. Prolonged heavy rains caused flooding in 54 communes and wards, affecting 200,000 households, causing estimated damage of more than 12,200 billion VND. The whole province is making every effort to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize people's lives.
On behalf of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, comrade Bui Van Luong thanked the working delegation for their special affection for the people in the province, especially households in difficult circumstances, policy families, households heavily affected by storms and floods, etc. At the same time, he hoped that the two localities would increase exchanges and cooperation in many fields.


On behalf of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee , comrade Do Thi Minh Hoa expressed her wish to continue receiving attention, coordination and cooperation in the field of Propaganda and Mass Mobilization in particular and in development in general between the two localities.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Duong Anh Duc sincerely thanked the warm and sincere welcome of the leaders and people of Thai Nguyen province.
He shared: "The Ho Chi Minh City delegation came to Thai Nguyen with respect and sympathy, hoping to contribute to reducing the difficulties and losses that people have to endure due to natural disasters and floods."

Recalling the period when Ho Chi Minh City struggled to fight the Covid-19 epidemic, comrade Duong Anh Duc emotionally expressed his deep gratitude for the kindness of the whole country, including Thai Nguyen province, for promptly supporting Ho Chi Minh City.
"HCMC always cherishes and never forgets those feelings," comrade Duong Anh Duc shared.




Regarding the development results of Ho Chi Minh City, comrade Duong Anh Duc said that in 2025, the total budget revenue is expected to exceed 750,000 billion VND, accounting for about 33% of the total budget revenue of the country, with average income per capita reaching 8,500 USD.
He affirmed that these results were achieved not only thanks to the efforts of Ho Chi Minh City but also thanks to the companionship and sharing of other localities.
He also shared that Ho Chi Minh City wishes to expand its relationship with Thai Nguyen province, a land rich in revolutionary tradition, with great development potential and typical products loved by Ho Chi Minh City residents.




On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation presented 500 national flags to Thai Nguyen province, symbolizing solidarity, national pride and North-South ties.
The delegation also presented gifts to policy households, households and students in difficult circumstances, and households severely affected by storm No. 11.
