From 6am this morning, November 13, Hanoi has been shining with golden sunshine after many previous days of drizzle, gloom and humidity. According to meteorological experts, this morning, cold, dry air has poured down, helping the North to have a fresh morning typical of late autumn - early winter weather.

The temperature in Hanoi and the Northern Delta this morning was only about 20-21 degrees Celsius, humidity dropped below 65%, the Northeast wind blew gently, making the weather cold but dry. Due to the cold, dry air, the sky was clear, the sun appeared from early morning, the autumn and winter weather became more distinct.
The meteorological agency said that today the North will continue to be dry and sunny, with the highest temperature only reaching 27-28 degrees Celsius, and humidity continuing to decrease. Because the sky in the North is clear, at night, the heat is diffused into the air, leading to a temperature difference between day and night of up to 7-10 degrees Celsius, which can easily cause colds and dry skin. Experts recommend that people in the North pay attention to keeping warm when exercising in the morning and wear masks when going out because the air this season is dry and easily polluted.
According to meteorological experts, today, in general, the weather is quite favorable across the country. In the Central and Central Highlands, the sun lasts all day, the weather is dry, suitable for outdoor activities and agricultural production. In the South, the morning is light sunshine, but from afternoon to evening there may be scattered thunderstorms, locally moderate to heavy rain.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the next 2-3 days, the weather will be stable and sunny throughout the country. However, from around November 16, the North and Central regions will be hit by a strong cold wave. The Central region may experience heavy rain lasting for many days.
In the North, temperatures will gradually drop from November 16. Around November 18, the North is likely to experience the coldest spell of the season, with nighttime temperatures in mountainous areas in some places below 14 degrees Celsius. Heavy rains in the Central region may last until November 22.
