According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on November 13, the South East Sea, including the Truong Sa special zone, the sea area from Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand, will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. There is a risk of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind in the thunderstorms, making it unsafe for ships operating in the area.

The meteorological agency warned that on the day and night of November 14, strong winds will increase in many sea areas. In the North of the North East Sea, strong northeast winds will reach level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9; waves 3-5 m high, rough seas. The sea strip from Quang Ngai to Ca Mau will maintain strong northeast winds at level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8 during the day; waves 2-4 m high. Particularly in the West of the South East Sea, including the West of Truong Sa special zone, on November 14, strong winds will reach level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough seas with waves 2-4 m high. Forecasts show that all vessels operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves. They need to closely monitor weather developments and have plans to ensure safety.

On land, from the night of November 12 to 15, the cold air will strengthen weakly, combined with the divergence field above, causing the North, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An to maintain a state of little cloud, sunny during the day. However, the temperature at night will drop sharply. During the nights of November 12 to 15, the lowest temperature will be generally 16-18 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North, some places will be below 13 degrees Celsius. At night and early morning, the weather will be cold; some high mountainous areas will experience severe cold.

The meteorological agency recommends that people proactively keep their bodies warm during times of sharp temperature drops, especially in mountainous areas; at the same time, pay attention to the risks to the health of the elderly, children and people with underlying diseases.
