On the evening of July 4, the Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training announced the exam results and admission scores for grade 10 of public high schools for the 2025-2026 school year.
According to this result, the group of schools with the highest benchmark score this year, at 24 points or higher (an average of 8 points or higher for each subject), has 9 schools.
The highest benchmark scores are Kim Lien High School and Le Quy Don High School - Ha Dong, both at 25.50 points;
Next are Phan Dinh Phung High School and Viet Duc High School, with 25.25 points;
Yen Hoa High School and Nguyen Gia Thieu High School both have 25.00 points.
Group of 9 public schools with the highest entrance scores (Top 5 public grade 10 entrance scores for the 2025-2026 school year):

This year, out of 115 public schools, only 9 schools have a benchmark score of 24 points or higher.
Besides the high-scoring schools, there are up to 6 schools with the lowest standard scores, all at 10 points.
The high difference in benchmark scores between schools shows that there is still a gap in educational quality between schools, and in different enrollment areas of the city.
The formula for calculating the admission score (ADS) for grade 10 public high schools in Hanoi in 2025 is as follows:
DXT = Math score + Literature score + Foreign language score + priority score (if any) + incentive score (if any). Subjects are calculated on a 10-point scale.
