On the evening of April 20, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Cat district (Binh Dinh) confirmed that the students in the above clip are from Cat Khanh commune.
According to initial verification, the person holding the helmet who beat his friend was a student in class 8A2, Cat Thanh Secondary School (Phu Cat District). The information about another female student in the clip (wearing a red shirt) who also participated in the beating is unknown.

A female student was beaten and stomped on the head repeatedly by her friends using a helmet, feet, and shoes.
The two female students used helmets to repeatedly hit their classmate on the head at the foot of De Gi bridge (Cat Khanh commune, Phu Cat district). When the victim was lying on the road, unable to fight back, the group of female students did not let go, using their hands to grab her head and kicking her repeatedly.
When the incident happened, many students stood watching and recording the clip but did not intervene.
"We have asked the police to intervene and quickly verify the identities of the female students in the clip to provide timelyeducation and handling, " Mr. Hung affirmed. He also asked schools to review, disseminate information and take strong measures if necessary to completely end school violence in the area.
Also on April 20, social networks spread a clip of an 8th grade female student at Binh Dinh Secondary School (An Nhon town (Binh Dinh) being beaten by a group of friends.
" Currently, the District Department of Education and Training has requested Binh Dinh Secondary School to report specifically, and coordinate with the police to clarify, " said the leader of the Department of Education and Training of An Nhon town.
