Nhu Thanh successfully achieved the goals and tasks of the first quarter of 2024

On the morning of March 28, the Party Executive Committee of Nhu Thanh district, term XXIII, held the 22nd conference to review the work of the Party Committee in the first quarter, deploy key tasks in the second quarter of 2024; and review 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 13-NQ/TU, dated January 11, 2019 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on land accumulation and concentration for large-scale, high-tech agricultural development by 2025, with a vision to 2030.

According to the report, in the first quarter of 2024, agricultural, forestry and fishery production in Nhu Thanh district developed quite comprehensively. The total harvested area of ​​winter crops was 1,102.5/1,050 hectares, reaching 105% of the plan and 102.3% over the same period; grain output reached 1,068 tons, reaching 110.6% of the plan.

The estimated value of industrial and construction projects is 583 billion VND, reaching 20% ​​of the plan. The district has focused on directing the acceleration of project implementation, starting new projects, completing transitional projects to ensure quality and progress according to the contract, especially key and focal projects. In March, 7 transitional projects were completed, with a total investment of 53.7 billion VND.

The estimated value of services and trade was 654.7 billion VND, reaching 38% of the plan. In the first quarter, the whole district built 0.8 km of village and hamlet roads; built 0.7 km of alley roads; renovated and built 17 new bridges and culverts for people; renovated and upgraded 1 communal cultural house; renovated and upgraded 7 village cultural houses... The total resources mobilized for new rural construction in the district in March was 26.164 billion VND, of which the people's contribution was 25.989 billion VND...

After 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 13 of the Provincial Party Committee, land accumulation and concentration models in Nhu Thanh district have brought higher economic efficiency than the initial small areas, forming large-scale concentrated commodity production areas.

The accumulation and concentration of land in the district has created a premise for attracting investment, applying science and technology to agricultural production, creating large and quality agricultural output to meet market demand. After 5 years of implementing the Resolution, the total area of ​​accumulated and concentrated land is over 2,000 hectares, reaching 104.5% of the plan. Of which, the cultivation sector accumulated 198.05 hectares; the livestock sector accumulated 93.89 hectares, and the forestry sector accumulated 1,776.34 hectares.

Previously, Nhu Thanh District Party Committee held a conference to announce the Decisions of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee on personnel work, with the assignment of comrades to hold the positions of Head of the District Party Committee's Organization Committee and Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee.
