Currently, La Bang Commune Party Committee has 56 party organizations with 775 party members. Over the past years, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and grassroots party organizations have been significantly improved; the quality of party members has been increasingly consolidated. Party cells maintain a regular routine of activities, promote fighting spirit, self-criticism and criticism; focus on innovating the content and methods of activities in a practical and effective direction.

Party development work has been given regular attention. During the term, the Party Committee admitted 99 new members, received 90 transferred comrades and completed the transfer procedures for 107 comrades. The targets for organizational and party member development have all been achieved and exceeded, contributing to supplementing the core political force for the grassroots.

Party building work is carried out synchronously in all three aspects: politics, ideology and organization. The commune Party Committee focuses on innovating the content and methods of studying, grasping and implementing the directives, resolutions and conclusions of the Central and the province; at the same time, strengthening political theory education , cultivating ethics, lifestyle and revolutionary traditions for cadres and party members.

The Commune Party Committee attaches special importance to the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, proactively fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints; enhancing the grasp of the ideological situation among cadres, Party members and people; promptly handling bad and toxic information on cyberspace. The motto of "using beauty, eliminating ugliness; using positivity to repel negativity" has been effectively implemented, contributing to maintaining political stability and strengthening people's trust.

In order to improve the qualifications and capacity of cadres and party members, over the past 5 years, the Party Committee has sent 768 cadres, civil servants and hamlet cadres to attend training courses, professional and technical training; of which 74 cadres attended state management and intermediate political theory courses and 333 cadres attended training courses organized by superiors. Up to now, 100% of commune cadres and civil servants have university degrees or higher, of which more than 95% are party members.

Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle are organized regularly and periodically, with content appropriate to each period. Through political activities, cadres and party members are updated with current information, domestic and international situations and local security and order, thereby raising awareness and creating positive changes in action. Many typical and advanced examples, linking the responsibility of setting an example with training and cultivating morality and lifestyle, have spread the exemplary spirit throughout the Party.

Every year, the Party Committee combines the review and evaluation of cadres with overcoming limitations and weaknesses in the spirit of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XII, XIII). Thanks to that, the sense of responsibility and awareness of serving the people of cadres and party members is enhanced, creating trust and consensus among the people. Inspection and supervision work is strengthened, with increasingly high quality and efficiency.

In the past 5 years, the Party Committee has organized 59 inspections and supervisions of subordinate Party cells regarding their working regime, the issuance and implementation of resolutions, and compliance with Party regulations. Thereby, many errors have been detected and promptly corrected, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations. Every year, on average, 92% of grassroots Party organizations complete their tasks well or better; 95% of Party members complete their tasks well. In the past 5 years, 37 Party cells and 247 exemplary Party members have been promptly commended.

Along with Party building and rectification, La Bang Commune Party Committee always pays attention to leading socio-economic development. In addition to agricultural strengths, in recent years, eco-tourism associated with natural landscapes has become an important economic sector.

According to the economic development orientation of the Party Committee, La Bang commune has many high-quality tea and rice products. The average production value on agricultural land reaches 140 million VND/ha; grain output is 5,640 tons/year; fresh tea buds are 14,845 tons/year.

Average income reached over 56 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate decreased to 1.54%. These figures clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of the Party Committee's leadership and management in implementing the advanced new rural area goals.

Entering a new phase, the La Bang Commune Party Committee determined to continue strengthening political and ideological education and training in revolutionary ethics for cadres and Party members; resolutely fight and prevent degradation in political ideology, ethics and lifestyle; promote the spirit of setting an example, especially of leaders.

The Party Committee continues to effectively implement the models of "4 Good Party Cells" and "4 Good Grassroots Party Committees"; innovate and improve the quality of inspection, evaluation and classification of Party organizations and Party members. Regularly review, screen and resolutely remove from the Party unqualified Party members; strictly implement the motto "The upper-level Party Committee controls the Party Cell; the grassroots Party members control each household", ensuring that Party work is closely linked to people's lives.
