Pedestrians, non-motorized vehicles, motorbikes, and all kinds of motorbikes from Huong Non commune, Tam Nong district to Phung Nguyen commune, Lam Thao district and vice versa can cross the Red River by ferry.

According to the Engineering Command, three PMP buoy segments available at the scene were coupled to form a 60-ton ferry.
At the same time, design and install additional surrounding iron frames to increase safety in civil exploitation conditions.
Each ferry can carry 90 people and 45 motorbikes, scooters and small vehicles; each trip takes 8-10 minutes and operates from 6am to 10pm daily.
To ensure safety for ferry trips across the river, on the afternoon of October 4, Phu Tho Provincial Police coordinated to organize traffic flow and regulate vehicles.
Currently, authorities are still patrolling, controlling, and prohibiting inland waterway vehicles and fishing boats from entering the ferry terminal area to ensure absolute safety.
