Huge tuna fish return to land from the sea after Lunar New Year

In recent days, many fishing boats from provinces and cities in the central region, after fishing at sea, have returned to Hon Ro fishing port, Nha Trang city ( Khanh Hoa ) to sell to traders.

Many healthy young men transport ocean tuna on boats to shore for sale to traders at Hon Ro fishing port, Phuoc Dong commune (Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa).

The weight of the ocean tuna ranges from 30 - 40 kg/fish, the fishing trips bring back to shore ranges from 60 - 65 fish/trip, even some trips reach 75 fish/trip.

During the 2024 Tet Giap Thin sea voyage, ocean tuna fishing boats won big with high yields.

After being brought ashore, the tuna is weighed and quickly loaded onto trucks, processed, and then transported.

Traders take samples of tuna, as well as check the quality of the fish.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ba ​​- Head of Hon Ro Fishing Port Management Board, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province said that from after Tet Nguyen Dinh to the 9th day of the Lunar New Year, there were only 4 ocean tuna fishing boats returning to the port. On the day (January 11 of the Lunar New Year), there were about 12 ocean tuna fishing boats across the 2024 Lunar New Year arriving at Hon Ro port.
