The University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU-HCM has just announced the threshold score to ensure input quality applicable to the following methods: considering the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by VNU-HCM in 2025, considering the results of the high school graduation exam in 2025 and other methods using high school study results.

The score applies to all admission combinations, without coefficients, including regional and subject priority points (if any).
In the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores, the floor score fluctuates at 18 - 20 points, a slight decrease of 0.5 - 1 point compared to 2024. However, "hot" majors still hold the top floor score positions.
Specifically, the majors of English Language, International Relations, Psychology, Japanese Studies, Korean Studies, Journalism, Multimedia Communications, and Tourism and Travel Services Management have the highest minimum score of 20 points.
In the admission method using the Competency Assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, the floor score ranges from 620 - 700 points.
In 2024, the admission score based on the school's high school graduation exam scores will range from 22 to 28.88 points. In particular, the average admission score for the C00 block will increase by 2 to 3 points compared to the 2023 admission score.
Journalism has the highest admission score with 28.8 points, followed by Tourism and Travel Services Management with 28.33 points, and Cultural Studies with 28.2 points.
