Mandatory regulations when serving Halal tourists

When exploiting the Muslim tourist flow, destinations, accommodation facilities or restaurants must have separate spaces, meet the rules of eating and religious activities, and need experts with in-depth knowledge of Muslim beliefs to advise and verify Halal standards.

Halal tourism is a relatively new concept in Vietnam. Halal tourism can be understood as Muslim-friendly tourism, ensuring tourism services are in line with the specific requirements of Islam. With more than 1.9 billion Muslims worldwide , Halal tourism is growing rapidly with a high-spending customer segment.

Recognizing the great potential of this tourist stream, recently, the Vietnamese tourism industry has organized many tourism promotion campaigns to boost the development of the Muslim tourist market to Vietnam.
