Supermarkets open through Lunar New Year 2024

The closer to the Lunar New Year, the more exciting the shopping atmosphere becomes. Everywhere, the number of people visiting markets, supermarkets, and shopping centers in the area gradually increases, the buying and selling atmosphere is busier and more bustling than usual.

Currently, a number of supermarkets and convenience store chains in Hanoi such as GO!, Big C+, WinMart and VinMart, Coopmart, LotteMart have announced their operating schedules during the 2024 Lunar New Year.

For the GO! and Big C supermarket systems nationwide, this time will be open from 7am to 11pm every day. This supermarket will serve Tet shopping needs until 12pm or 2pm (depending on the location) on the 30th of Tet and will only be closed on the 1st day of Tet. From the 2nd day, the system will operate normally, open from 8am to 10pm.

To serve the peak shopping season, during the period before Tet, AEON supermarket said it will extend operating hours and stay open throughout Tet.

Specifically: From February 2, 2024 (December 23) to February 8, 2024 (Lunar New Year's Day 29), AEON department stores and supermarkets in the North will open early from 7:00 a.m. and close late at 11:00 p.m. for the supermarket area on the first floor.

The ground floor supermarket area of AEON department stores and supermarkets in Ho Chi Minh City will open early from 7am and close late at 10:30pm from February 6 to February 8 (ie 27 to 29 of Lunar New Year).

On February 10, 2024 (the first day of Tet), AEON department store and supermarket will open from 11am to 12am.

From February 11, 2024 (the 2nd day of Tet), AEON department stores and supermarkets will open normally from 8:00 to 22:00.

The WinCommerce supermarket system (including WinMart and WinMart+) will be open until 12:00 on the 30th of Tet and reopen on the 4th of Tet. From now until the 29th of Tet, this system will increase its service hours to 23:00. During this time, WinCommerce will also strengthen its online sales channel and support many delivery policies.

Supermarket chains Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.op Food, Co.op Smile are open until 12:00 on the 29th of Tet. Supermarkets will only be closed on January 10 (the first day of the Lunar New Year) and will reopen from the second day of Tet.

From the second to the fifth day of Tet, the supermarket opens from 8am to 12pm. From the sixth day of Tet, the supermarket returns to normal operation, opening hours are from 7am to 10pm daily.

LotteMart supermarket system opens until 2:00 p.m. on the 29th of Tet, except for Lotte Mart District 7 (HCMC), opening hours will extend until 6:00 p.m.

This system is closed on the first day of Tet. From the second day, Lotte Mart opens from 10am to 9pm. From the third day of Tet onwards, Lotte Mart supermarket system returns to normal service, from 8am to 10pm every day...

MM Mega Market supermarket chain also extended its opening hours. Specifically, from the 23rd of Tet, it will open from 6am to 11pm. The supermarket will close at 12pm on the 30th of Tet and reopen on the 4th of Tet.
