Schools with the highest 10th grade entrance scores in Ho Chi Minh City

The 10th grade admission score table for the 2024-2025 school year in Ho Chi Minh City shows that the ranking of high schools' admission scores has not changed much. High schools with the highest 10th grade admission scores in Ho Chi Minh City include:

Nguyen Thuong Hien High School still holds the position of the school with the highest standard score in the city: 24.25 (1st choice).

Next are Tran Phu High School, Nguyen Huu Huan High School, and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School, all with a benchmark score of 23.25 points.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Education's Practical High School and Gia Dinh High School have the same benchmark score of 23.

Mac Dinh Chi, Le Quy Don, Phu Nhuan and Nguyen Huu Cau High Schools have the same benchmark score of 22.5.

Bui Thi Xuan High School benchmark score 22.25.

Notably, this year most of the top and middle high schools in Ho Chi Minh City have reduced their benchmark scores, while the Practice High School - Ho Chi Minh City University of Education has increased its score to 23 points, compared to 22.5 points last year.

Admission scores for grade 10 are calculated as follows:

Admission score = Literature exam score + Foreign language exam score + Math exam score + priority and incentive points (if any).

The Department only considers candidates who are eligible to take the entrance exam, have taken all required exams, have not violated entrance exam regulations, and have not scored 0 on any exam.

Need confirmation of admission to grade 10 from 4 to 12-7-2024

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, candidates admitted to public grade 10 schools will confirm their admission to grade 10 from July 4 to 12, 2024.

First, candidates will confirm their admission online at: https://ts10.hcm.edu.vn (go to "Look up admission test results 10" and log in). If students do not confirm within the above time, it will be considered as refusing the right to be admitted.

During the period from July 17 to 31, 2024: High schools will organize direct application reception for candidates who have confirmed online enrollment.
