Attending the signing ceremony were Deputy Director of the National Innovation Center Do Tien Thinh and Professor Nghiem Duc Long - Chairman of VASEA. Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc witnessed the signing ceremony.

Vietnam, with the advantage of being an agricultural country, has great potential to develop green agriculture. Developing green agriculture, aiming at a sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural production is also one of the top priorities in Vietnam's socio-economic development policy.

Over the years, investment in technology, coupled with a young workforce and supportive government policies, have enabled Vietnam to successfully transition to green agriculture. However, to fully exploit this potential, Vietnam needs to overcome a number of barriers.

With the memorandum of understanding signed on the morning of September 17, the National Innovation Center and VASEA aim to find solutions to overcome difficulties and challenges in human resources, especially high-quality human resources in the agricultural sector. Support farmers and economic sectors to access green technology, new plant varieties and investment capital.

The National Innovation Center and VASEA also hope to support and motivate startups in the green agriculture sector, especially in connecting with experts, accessing markets and expanding production scale.
