Official launch of the Youth Medical Innovation Competition in Hanoi area

Kinhtedothi - On the afternoon of November 25, at Duc Giang General Hospital (Hanoi), the launching ceremony of the 31st Hanoi Regional Youth Medical Innovation Technical Competition took place. This prestigious scientific event has gone through 50 years, with 30 successful events, becoming an environment to promote innovation, affirming the intelligence and capacity of the capital's young medical team.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Dao Duc Viet - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of the 31st Hanoi Youth Medical Innovation Competition emphasized the pioneering role of young doctors in innovation and access to modern medical techniques. In the context of the health sector constantly changing to meet the increasing demands of the people, each initiative and each scientific topic is a testament to the sense of responsibility, dedication and aspiration to contribute of young people in the medical sector.

Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Dao Duc Viet - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of the Youth Creative Technology Competition in the health sector in Hanoi spoke at the launching ceremony.

This year's competition continues to aim at creating an environment for exchanging and sharing expertise for doctors, pharmacists, nurses and young staff at medical facilities in Hanoi, while at the same time encouraging and stimulating creative potential and the ability to master new techniques. The participating topics must be new, practical, comply with the law and aim to improve the quality of health care for the people.

Over half a century of formation and development, the contest has made important contributions to discovering and nurturing young talents; at the same time helping the capital's health sector master many technical advances, contributing to building a cultured, civilized and modern Hanoi.

Associate Professor, Dr. Do Dinh Tung - Director of Duc Giang General Hospital, Deputy Head of the Competition Steering Committee, said that as the host unit, coordinating with Hanoi Youth Union and Hanoi Department of Health, Duc Giang General Hospital is committed to doing its best, closely coordinating with Hanoi Youth Union, Department of Health and related units to organize the Competition safely, professionally, creatively and leave the best impression.

The Organizing Committee of the 31st Hanoi Regional Youth Technical Innovation Competition in 2025 will accept applications until December 10, 2025, at Duc Giang General Hospital. Within the framework of the Competition, a number of main activities will take place, including: Scientific seminar on "Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation in the Healthcare Sector" (December 12, 2025); demonstration of new topics and techniques at medical facilities (from December 19 to 21, 2025). The closing and award ceremony is expected to take place on December 25, 2025.

Along with the professional competition, the contest also incorporates social activities such as health consultation, medical examination and free medicine for people, especially in remote areas and policy beneficiaries.
