On the morning of January 22, the People's Council of Ninh Thuan province held the 16th session, term XI, term 2021 - 2026.
At the meeting, the People's Council of Ninh Thuan province elected Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang (born 1979), Secretary of Ninh Hai district Party Committee, to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province for the 2021-2016 term.
Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang is from Binh Dinh province. Before being elected as Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Hoang held the positions of Vice Chairman of Ninh Son District People's Committee (from January to October 2013); Deputy Director, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ninh Thuan province (November 2013 - April 2019); Secretary of Ninh Hai District Party Committee from May 2019 to present.

The Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Council also dismissed Mr. Phan Tan Canh from the position of Vice Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee. Mr. Canh was assigned by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to join the Executive Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Ninh Hai District Party Committee, replacing Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang.
In addition, the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Council also dismissed Mr. Ha Anh Quang from the position of Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (due to retirement). At the same time, elected a new position for Mr. Pham Van Binh.
Also at this session, the People's Council of Ninh Thuan province voted to approve the resolution on the overall adjustment project for the general construction planning of Phan Rang - Thap Cham city until 2040, with a vision to 2050.
Specifically, the overall adjustment project of Phan Rang - Thap Cham city until 2040, with a vision to 2050, aims to turn this city into a uniquely balanced urban area.
The project aims to build Phan Rang - Thap Cham city towards the goal of net zero emissions before 2050. This city will be built to become an urban area that experiences the application of clean energy and renewable energy, developing according to the model of an ecological, sustainable, smart, unique urban area and a livable city.

Delegates also voted to approve a resolution to abolish 12 resolutions of the Provincial People's Council on investment policies for projects; resolutions on assigning civil servant payrolls at district and provincial levels, and the number of employees receiving salaries from the state budget in public service units.
