After the merger, Quang Tri Electricity Company has a total of 1,244 employees, with 12 functional departments, 1 hot-wire repair team and 20 affiliated units.

Currently, the company has received and managed the length of power lines at all voltage levels of over 4,395km; the total number of distribution transformer stations is over 8,270; the annual commercial electricity output is about 1.8 billion kWh and nearly 520,000 customers. With a large volume of work, requiring high management capacity, close coordination and a sense of responsibility from all employees and workers are needed in the context of implementing the model transformation towards "Simplified - lean - strong - efficient - effective - effective".

In addition to focusing on reorganizing and perfecting the operating apparatus, Quang Tri Power Company also strengthens the connection and stability of its staff, employees and workers, creating a foundation for sustainable development. After the merger, the Trade Union of Quang Tri Power Company has 18 member grassroots unions, with a total of more than 1,200 union members and workers. The expanded scale means that the scope of activities of the trade union organization is also wider and more diverse in terms of job characteristics, working conditions, and the need to care for the material and spiritual lives of workers.

In the initial stages of the merger, employees at the old units faced many difficulties related to changes in organization, management apparatus, adjustment of work areas, anxiety about job positions, policies, etc. On the other hand, member grassroots unions also needed to quickly stabilize the organization, improve personnel, and adjust operating regulations to meet new requirements and tasks. Faced with these challenges, the role of the union organization became more important than ever.

Mr. Dang Van Ninh, Chairman of the Quang Tri Power Company Trade Union, shared: "The company's Trade Union will focus on taking good care of the material and spiritual life of workers, promoting democracy at the grassroots level, and promoting the emulation movement for good workers and creative workers.

In particular, the Union always focuses on doing a good job of occupational safety and hygiene, building a safe and friendly working environment. At the same time, it proactively coordinates with professionals to effectively implement social security programs and volunteer activities for the community, contributing to spreading the image of dedicated and responsible electricians in the Central region.

Immediately after the merger, the Provisional Executive Committee of the Quang Tri Power Company Trade Union was established, ensuring the smooth and stable operation of the Trade Union. The member grassroots trade unions and affiliated trade union groups were consolidated according to the new model, with special attention paid to the establishment of grassroots trade unions at the Regional Power Management Team, High Voltage Power Grid Enterprise, Electricity Testing Center, Power Grid Hot Repair Team... in accordance with the production, business and labor organization model. The merger and consolidation of the Trade Union organization is not only an administrative change but also a blending and connection of collective strength, promoting the tradition of solidarity and creativity of workers in the electricity industry throughout the province.
