Thanks to the automatic queuing system and online appointment booking, people in Nghia Hanh commune ( Quang Ngai ) now only need a few minutes to register, track appointment schedules and know in advance the application processing information, avoiding unnecessary waiting. All operations can be done right at home, via the web, phone app or kiosk at the Center.
Deputy Director of Nghia Hanh Commune Public Administration Service Center Dao Thi Bich Diem said: “To operate a two-level local government, the Center has advised the Commune People's Committee to invest in an automatic number-picking kiosk. Previously, people had to go to the counter to pick a number and wait, but now people can sit at home to pick a number and make an appointment, saving time for citizens as well as civil servants sitting at the counter and returning results.”
Not only the digital system, the Post Office staff also contributes to helping the commune level maintain smooth public services. Quang Ngai Provincial Post Office has arranged for Post Office staff to directly support at the Commune and Ward Public Administration Service Centers. All have been professionally trained and equipped with necessary equipment to serve.
At the Quang Ngai Provincial Public Administration Service Center and the commune-level Public Administration Service Centers, the province's shared information systems have been operating smoothly and stably.
Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Quoc Huy Hoang said that at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, officials and civil servants quickly adapted to the new process on the National Public Service Portal, performing operations proficiently and accurately.
Receiving and processing documents takes place continuously, ensuring there is no congestion or delay. The standardized process on the National Public Service Portal has contributed to improving work efficiency, bringing satisfaction to people and businesses.
The successful integration of the province's administrative procedure settlement system into the National Public Service Portal not only helps save investment and operating costs for individual systems but also contributes to standardizing processes, improving transparency and efficiency in handling administrative procedures throughout the province.
Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang emphasized that the province's consistent guiding principle is that the arrangement of the apparatus must aim at the ultimate goal of better serving the people and businesses, absolutely not letting people encounter difficulties or troubles due to changes in the operation of the two-level local government.
According to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, to achieve that goal, the province has been synchronously implementing groups of solutions such as promoting communication, guidance, widely publicizing the names, addresses, functions and tasks of new agencies and units; arranging specialized staff at the commune-level Public Administration Service Center to receive and answer procedures, and publicizing a hotline to promptly support people.
Standardizing and simplifying administrative procedures is an opportunity to review and cut unnecessary procedures, standardize inter-level processing procedures, and reduce time and costs for people and businesses.
Strengthening the application of information technology, investing in digital infrastructure, operating management software smoothly, encouraging people to carry out administrative procedures online to shorten geographical distances and reduce pressure on officials.
Arrange and assign appropriately, ensure policies and regimes for redundant staff; organize training to improve capacity and service skills of staff in the new apparatus.
“We are committed to always listening to the opinions of people and businesses to promptly adjust and perfect the operating system to become more and more effective,” said Mr. Giang.
