Meritorious Artist Huu Chau and many untold stories

Written by author Thanh Thuy and herself, the portrait memoir Huu Chau - The Golden Cradle of Storms has just been published by Phanbook and Dan Tri Publishing House.

This can be considered a long "film" about the life and career of Meritorious Artist Huu Chau, from when he was a mischievous boy in the Thanh Minh Thanh Nga opera troupe until the changes of the times occurred, causing the "golden spoon" artist to feel shaken and then lasting until today.

The book is an unforgettable memoir, written between the research and document search of author Thanh Thuy and the confession of Huu Chau himself. Through it, portraits of many important people around his life have appeared. We can mention two women that he loved with all his heart: "mother Ba" - the late artist Thanh Nga and grandmother - producer Tho. He also devoted many pages to writing about family members, benefactors, teachers, and previous artists who taught him many valuable lessons such as artists Bay Nam, Nam Sa Dec... as well as co-stars with important roles such as Huu Nghia, Hong Dao, Hong Van... A series of his impressive roles in many genres from reformed opera, drama to cinema are also mentioned, thereby showing more than 4 decades of continuous dedication.

In addition to expressing gratitude to many generations of audiences who have always supported and followed him, the book demonstrates the dedication and messages that Meritorious Artist Huu Chau wishes to send to his students - the next generation of the country's art.
