On June 28, at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street, Phanbooks Company organized an exchange program to launch the publication Huu Chau - The Golden Cradle of Storms (Dan Tri Publishing House). This is a comprehensive and detailed portrait of the length and breadth of a golden period of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City theater through the perspective of artist Huu Chau.
It has been a long time since Ho Chi Minh City Book Street has had such a lively and attractive exchange program. In addition to the relatives of artist Huu Chau: actors Ha Linh, Gia Bao; colleagues who are artists Huong Giang, Kim Huyen; students: Le Loc, Minh Du, Ma Ran Do..., the program also had the participation of a large audience of many generations who have loved artist Huu Chau for the past 40 years.
At the program, sharing about the book Huu Chau - The Golden Cradle of Storms , artist Huu Chau said that 9 years ago, there was an offer for artist Huu Chau to write a memoir about his life but he refused. It was only recently, when he continued to receive this offer, that he agreed.
The publication Huu Chau - The Golden Cradle of Storms has a mixture of two perspectives: sometimes it is the story of artist Huu Chau, sometimes it is the story of the writer with a long time following the field of theater. Therefore, not only the story of artist Huu Chau but readers also encounter stories of a family, and more broadly, of society.
