On November 23, at the Khanh Hoa Province Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center, responding to the call of local authorities, more than 100 foreign tourists traveling in the locality and many local people came to donate blood to serve the work of treating patients during the flood.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Long, Head of Khanh Hoa Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center (under Khanh Hoa Department of Health ) said that prolonged rain and floods have isolated many areas, making it difficult to mobilize voluntary blood donations. The province's blood reserves are decreasing sharply, lacking additional sources, causing difficulties in responding to emergency situations and treating patients. Therefore, Khanh Hoa Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center urgently calls for voluntary blood donations.

According to records, by noon on November 23, at the above location, many people and foreign tourists had come to donate blood. In addition, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the Khanh Hoa Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center and Ninh Thuan General Hospital to organize blood donations by region, in accordance with the actual situation and ensuring safety.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Health requested the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center to ensure adequate supplies and chemicals, conduct screening tests and preserve blood according to regulations. The unit must arrange personnel to directly receive blood and prioritize the supply to facilities that are lacking in emergency and treatment services. At the same time, proactively regulate blood sources between hospitals, especially in areas affected by floods and traffic disruptions, to ensure timely supply to patients.
