Hong Van Theatre brings organ trafficking to the stage

Following the medical drama Another War, Hong Van Drama Theater continues to bring to the stage a new play about organ trafficking.

That is the play Forensic Revelation (script: Quynh Tram, director: People's Artist Hong Van) premiered to the audience in mid-July.

Le Loc is fragile with a girl with heart disease

Forensic Costumes has both detective and horror elements. The story is about the family of Dr. Tam - a forensic doctor. Mr. Tam's wife died early, leaving him with a daughter who is constantly tormented by heart disease.

Then a close friend, who is also the director of an international hospital, found a suitable heart to perform a heart transplant surgery on Ngoc. However, from then on, a series of strange things happened.

Not only that, because she replaced the heart of another girl, as a spiritual factor, Ngoc seemed to have a connection with the deceased, saw somewhere a conspiracy, saw somewhere the shadows of people she had never known and had strange habits.

It can be said that Ngoc is a role with a rather new color compared to the familiar image of Le Loc on stage before, so it is also a condition for the young actress to explore more of her own abilities. The audience who admire Le Loc will also have the opportunity to see her portray the character from a different angle, weaker and softer.

Opportunities for young actors

Director Hong Van said that Forensic Revelation was staged by her after graduating from an acting training class. Realizing that this was a good play, she decided to thicken it up to become a ticketed play for the public.

Forensic Costume gives a chance entirely to young actors, without stars as a challenge for you to try hard to be able to hold the audience.

In the first performances, although not an excellent play, Forensic Revenge created sympathy thanks to its emotional storytelling. Spiritual elements were used moderately, not overused to scare the ghosts.

Besides Le Loc, young actors in the play such as Dinh Manh Phuc, Tuan Dung, Tuan Anh, Khanh Tien, Minh Nga, Bui Cong Danh, Khoi Nguyen, Lac Hoang Long... played their roles well, knowing how to balance the tragicomic elements.

The play deals with the illegal organ trafficking, interwoven into a story of a case that is kept secret until the end. At the same time, it also raises the issue of ethics in the medical profession. Forensic Costume is scheduled to be performed on weekends at the Hong Van Drama Theater.

Young artist Le Loc plays Ngoc. Previously at Hong Van stage, Le Loc was often assigned funny, mischievous or crazy roles.

But this time the character has a completely different color. Le Loc has to show the fragility and weakness of a young girl with an incurable disease.
