With 14 years of experience teaching Physics, Ms. Chi always shows her love for her job and responsibility in every lesson and every lesson plan. Constantly learning and innovating methods, she has implemented many practical initiatives, contributing to promoting students' initiative and creativity. Typical topics include: "Promoting self-study ability through E-learning lectures on Light waves and spectrum (Physics 12)", "Building experiments in Mechanics - Physics 10", or applying Tracker Video Analysis software to support teaching Physics practice lessons for grades 10 and 11. These innovations not only improve the quality of learning but also save time, increase interaction and appeal to students.
In addition to her role as a teacher, Ms. Chi is also a dynamic and courageous union leader. With the responsibility of the Chairwoman of the grassroots union, she always closely accompanies the lives of union members and teachers in the school. At the annual conferences of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, she proactively advises and proposes practical policies. Thanks to that, the school has approved an additional income of 8 to more than 11 million VND/person/year for union members; teachers with high achievements are given the opportunity to visit and learn from experiences at prestigiouseducational institutions in and outside the city; retired teachers are honored and given thoughtful gifts.
She and the Executive Committee of the Trade Union built a Welfare Fund “For the benefit of Trade Union members”, taking better care of teachers’ material and spiritual lives, and at the same time forming a Mutual Assistance Fund with contributions from union members, which has so far mobilized more than 30 million VND, and rotated to promptly support 10 difficult cases, each with 2 million VND. These specific and timely actions have further fostered teachers’ trust in the school’s trade union organization.
Not only stopping at internal activities, Ms. Chi also actively calls on and mobilizes union members to participate in volunteer activities and share with the community. She and her family are always pioneers, silently supporting difficult situations with all their heart and practical actions.
At home, she is an exemplary wife and mother. Despite being busy with school work and social work, she still takes time to care for and nurture her family. Her children are obedient and filial; the small family is always harmonious and warm. “I think, to have a happy and stable family, first of all, there must be sharing among its members. Family is a solid foundation for each person to fulfill their duties in society,” Chi confided.
With her dedication and responsibility in all roles, Ms. Chi has been honored with many forms and titles from the school level to the city's education sector. Recently, she was one of 85 typical individuals honored by the City Labor Federation at the conference to summarize and reward outstanding collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the period of 2016-2025.
A woman devoted to her profession, accompanying union members and preserving a loving home, the female President of the grassroots union, Tran Thi Phuong Chi, is a living proof of the image of a new-age union official: intelligent, brave and full of love.
