These days, at the National Military Training Center 4 (Dong Tam Commune, My Duc District, Hanoi), more than 1,900 cadres, soldiers, officers, and militiamen in 2 standing blocks and 14 walking blocks are still diligently practicing under the harsh weather. From basic exercises such as walking in unison, to operations with equipment and weapons, all must meet the requirements of being correct, even, and beautiful.

Along with the forces participating in the training, there are many female groups, such as the female military band group, female communications officer group, female medical officer group, female peacekeepers of Vietnam, female militia group of the North...
The units have been practicing for nearly 2 months and are now entering phase 2 of training. In addition to their solemn and disciplined demeanor during training, the female soldiers attract attention thanks to their unique beauty and charm.
Participating in the second parade and marching training, and also the second time taking on the role of Head of the female peacekeeping unit (the first time was the parade and marching to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory), Lieutenant Hoang Thi Thu said she was very proud and honored to be chosen to participate in the parade and marching to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.

Unlike the 39-40 degree Celsius heat of May last year, this time the female lieutenant and her teammates were tested by the biting cold caused by the cold air waves. Thu said that the weather made the training process more difficult and strenuous.
According to the female lieutenant, each training session usually starts from 7-11am and 2-5pm. Because women’s health and endurance are not as good as men’s, some soldiers may faint when exposed to harsh weather. Therefore, she and her teammates often practice additional exercises such as running, jogging, and push-ups to improve their physical strength.

"While practicing cross-legged walking, many women had sore feet and sprained their ankles. In the evening, everyone soaked their feet to relieve the pain and continued practicing the next day. With the encouragement of superiors and the constant help of women in the block, we always try to unite to complete the assigned tasks well," said Ms. Thu.
Enlisted in February 2024, Corporal Trinh Thi Duyen participated in the first joint parade and marching training and was selected as the Head of the female communications officer group. Like her other teammates, during the training, she also encountered difficulties due to the weather and training intensity, which required great effort.

In addition, there is also homesickness because when training at the National Military Training Center 4, soldiers will have to stay here for many months, then move to Ho Chi Minh City to train with other forces. To ease the homesickness, every day after training, Duyen and her teammates often spend some time calling their families.
During the training session on the afternoon of March 13, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, directly visited and encouraged the officers and soldiers. He understood the hardships of the soldiers, especially the female soldiers, many of whom had to put aside family work and children to complete the assigned military tasks.
The attention and encouragement from leaders not only adds motivation but also shows respect for the sense of responsibility and persistent will to train of the forces participating in the parade.
