Whether working in a professional or managerial position, teacher Dang Thi Tra always receives the trust of colleagues and the respect of students and parents. With more than 20 years of working in the profession, she always identifies her role and responsibility as very important in building and developing the school and improving the quality of education for students.
Born into a family with a tradition of studiousness, with a grandfather who was a famous teacher in the area, Ms. Dang Thi Tra, Vice Principal in charge of Nam Trung Yen Primary School ( Hanoi ) early had a love for the teaching profession.
Passing the entrance exams to two prestigious universities, the National Economics University and Hanoi Pedagogical University 1 (now Hanoi Pedagogical University), Ms. Tra was stuck between choosing between economics or pedagogy. Finally, with her love for lesson plans, blackboards and chalk, along with her parents' encouragement and guidance, she decided to study at a pedagogical university.
Unlike many other students, after graduating from university, Ms. Dang Thi Tra chose a private school to start her teaching career. Because, according to her, the competitive environment of a private school will help the young teacher improve herself, helping her accumulate experience and skills.

After 10 years of working in private schools, Ms. Tra brought with her the skills and experiences she had accumulated and devoted herself to public schools. At that time, she taught at Yen Hoa Primary School (Cau Giay, Hanoi).
Working in a new environment was full of difficulties and challenges, and it was also the time when her two children went to school. The country's affairs and the housework were piled on the young teacher's shoulders. Her husband was in the army so he was often away from home, so she alone took care of her parents and raised her two children. Now that her children have grown up and graduated from prestigious universities, Ms. Tra can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
With her achievements and contributions to the education sector, in 2017, she was trusted by the leaders to be appointed as Vice Principal of Nam Trung Yen Primary School. The new position and new tasks were honorable but also heavy. "I was a teacher, without management experience, so when I was appointed, I was quite worried and anxious. Fortunately, with the trust and encouragement of the leaders, and the support and sharing of colleagues, the work went smoothly," Ms. Dang Thi Tra recalled.
Raise awareness of responsibility for the profession of "growing people"
With nearly 30 years in the profession, nearly 10 years as a manager, Ms. Tra always trains herself in every word and gesture, being proper and raising her sense of responsibility for the profession of "growing people". With enthusiasm and love for the profession, no matter what position she is in, Ms. Dang Thi Tra always strives to surpass herself to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

During nearly 10 years as Vice Principal, Ms. Tra, together with the Board of Directors, teachers and staff, have built the school's Pedagogical Council into a united, intelligent, democratic and disciplined collective. Since then, Nam Trung Yen Primary School has achieved many achievements in teaching and learning, and has been trusted and chosen by many parents and people.
As an educational manager, Ms. Dang Thi Tra is always closely involved in all activities, always creative, exemplary, standing side by side with colleagues to overcome all difficulties to complete the task well, creating a united, strong team, trusted and loved by colleagues. She regularly guides and directs the application of many innovative teaching methods to improve the quality of education, effectively applying management measures through planning.
Every day, in addition to handling administrative and professional work, she often visits each class to ask about and understand the students' eating and sleeping habits and always reminds teachers to pay attention and ensure the physical and mental safety of each student in the class. Ms. Tra's efforts and contributions have been recognized by her superiors and trusted by her colleagues. Not only bringing about personal achievements, in her position as Vice Principal and then Vice Principal in charge, Ms. Tra has worked with the Board of Directors and teachers to build Nam Trung Yen Primary School stronger and stronger. In recent years, the quality of teaching and learning at the school has been increasingly improved, the rate of excellent students is always over 50%; 5th grade students taking the entrance exam to high-quality schools ranked 4th in Cau Giay district.
