Female Vice President in Top 30 best Latin dance couples in the world

Nguyen My Trang and Pham Trung Hoa have just entered the Top 30 best Latin dance couples in the world for middle-aged people.

Just landed in Hanoi, Ms. Nguyen My Trang shared good news with VietNamNet when she and her dance partner Pham Trung Hoa entered the Top 30 best Latin dance couples in the world for middle-aged people.

The Vietnamese Dancesport couple received 2 Bronze medals for the Middle Age 1 and Middle Age 2 categories in the Republic of Cyprus.

A pair of Vietnamese Dancesport athletes have just achieved excellent results at two WDSF standard Dancesport competitions organized by the World DanceSport Federation in Europe: Cyprus Open 2025 and Nice - France Open 2025. They excellently won 3 bronze medals and a top 6 position overall (Latin group).

These are all long-standing tournaments in two countries with developed dance sports: France and Cyprus, attracting a large number of athletes from countries such as France, Austria, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, Republic of Cyprus...

Pham Trung Hoa - Nguyen My Trang received Bronze medal and entered Top 6 Finals in Nice, France.

Two Vietnamese athletes are the only representatives of Asia participating in these two tournaments in both the Middle Age 1 (one athlete aged 30 and over, the other aged 35 and over) and Middle Age 2 (one over 40 and one over 45 years old) age categories.

With this outstanding performance, the Vietnamese Dancesport athlete couple Pham Trung Hoa - Nguyen My Trang has excellently entered the Top 30 best Latin dance couples in the world for middle-aged people (ranked 29th on the global rankings announced by the World Dancesport Federation on May 6, 2025).

Ms. Nguyen My Trang shared that both athletes were very excited and proud of this achievement. “We were lucky to compete in the Republic of Cyprus on April 30th while the whole country was jubilantly celebrating the country's reunification day. We were extremely proud to stand on the podium to receive the first two bronze medals in Cyprus and see the Vietnamese flag flying on the tournament's scoreboard.

After these two major international tournaments in Europe, we are not only proud of our achievements but also have the opportunity to express our national pride and introduce Vietnam and Vietnamese sports to international friends. Many athletes and fans from other countries came to shake hands, congratulate us, and promise to visit Vietnam soon," Ms. My Trang shared with VietNamNet.

Mr. Pham Trung Hoa is a Dancesport coach and athlete who has competed professionally for 18 years. He is currently the Director of a Sports Dance Center in Hanoi , where Ms. Nguyen My Trang has studied for the past 8 years. Ms. Nguyen My Trang is currently the Deputy General Director of My Thanh Company. She started practicing Dancesport in 2017 and has just entered professional Dancesport competition at international tournaments since September 2023.
