Vinh Tuy Ward presented 55 gifts to wounded and sick soldiers.

On the afternoon of July 23, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Tuy ward organized a meeting and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Tuy Ward, President of the Women's Union of Vinh Tuy Ward Du Thi Thu emphasized that our country has gone through two resistance wars to protect the Fatherland with many sacrifices and losses. In which, millions of outstanding children have heroically sacrificed, many wounded and sick soldiers have left a part of their body on the battlefield, so that we can live in independence, freedom, peace and development.

According to Ms. Du Thi Thu, in Vinh Tuy ward there are 835 meritorious people; 7 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; 356 wounded and sick soldiers; 88 people infected with toxic chemicals; 134 relatives of martyrs; 248 families worshiping martyrs...

At the meeting, the ward’s unions, some organizations and benefactors presented 50 gifts worth 15 million VND to war invalids and sick soldiers. At the same time, the ward organized health check-ups for war invalids and sick soldiers.

War invalid Le Dinh Tao, Veterans Association No. 25, Vinh Tuy Ward expressed his joy and emotion when receiving the warm and affectionate attention of the Party Committee, government, organizations and people in the ward.

“This is a meaningful encouragement for us to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, striving to be a worthy example for our children and grandchildren to follow, and at the same time, encouraging our children and grandchildren to study and work to contribute to building our homeland and country to become more civilized and prosperous,” said Mr. Le Dinh Tao.
