Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that in implementing the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, diversification and multilateralization of international relations, Vietnam always attaches importance to and wishes to strengthen relations with traditional friends, including Hungary, a priority partner in the Central and Eastern European region. The Prime Minister informed President Katalin Novak of the important results achieved during the talks between the two Prime Ministers. President Novak Katalin suggested that the two sides closely coordinate to implement the agreements reached during the visit in order to make the most of the potential and space available to further promote cooperation between the two countries in all fields: politics , economics-trade-investment, education-training, culture, people-to-people exchange, etc. The Prime Minister suggested that the two sides continue to increase contacts and exchanges of delegations at all levels, especially high-level, as well as between ministries, branches and localities to enhance political trust and mutual understanding, as a foundation to promote and expand bilateral cooperation in all aspects. The Hungarian President thanked Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh for conveying the invitation of President Vo Van Thuong and affirmed that he will soon visit Vietnam in 2024. The two leaders agreed that economic-trade-investment cooperation plays an important role and is a driving force to promote bilateral relations in the coming time. In that spirit, the Prime Minister asked President Katalin Novak to encourage Hungarian enterprises to promote business cooperation and joint investment with Vietnamese enterprises, especially in areas where Hungary has strengths such as pharmaceuticals, livestock, food processing, renewable energy, water management, etc. The Hungarian President suggested that the two sides soon coordinate to organize the 10th Meeting of the Vietnam-Hungary Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation during the President's upcoming visit to Vietnam.

Regardingeducation and training, the two sides welcomed the positive results achieved in recent times, with nearly 1,000 Vietnamese students currently studying at Hungarian universities with scholarships granted by the Hungarian Government. Regarding cooperation at international forums, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and President Katalin Novak agreed to maintain contacts on the sidelines of multilateral forums, closely coordinate and support each other at international organizations, especially the United Nations, ASEM, the ASEAN-EU mechanism, etc. Vietnamese people in Hungary are hard-working, diligent and have made many contributions .
