VinFast's 'super small' electric car first appeared in Ho Chi Minh City

The heat of the VinFast VF3 mini electric car model first revealed in Ho Chi Minh City attracted the customer community to "see with their own eyes and touch with their own hands". This is a car model that Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong shared that has "a super small car, a one-door car, and a cheap price but very beautiful".

During the exhibition " VinFast - For a Green Future" held in Ho Chi Minh City from August 18 to 20, many people came to "see" and experience many electric car models of the Vietnamese car company that has just been listed on the US stock exchange. Among them, many guests were excited about the "super small" electric car model that appeared for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City.

"Super small" car attracts viewers

According to Tuoi Tre Online, in the Landmark81 building, a series of cars, motorbikes, bicycles, and electric buses are displayed. In particular, the customer area is crowded with people coming to see the concept of VF 3, VinFast's smallest electric car model.

The car belongs to the mini segment - the new, smallest segment in Vietnam. After its launch, VF 3 will compete with Wuling Hongquang Mini EV - an electric car from China. The car is yellow and small in size . The design of VF 3 is square, unique, with a rugged SUV style, different from VinFast's product line which has a soft design.

The radiator grille is decorated with a stylized V-wing logo. VF 3 has an overall length of 3,114mm, VF 3 is 470mm shorter than the smallest A-class hatchback on the market, Kia Morning (3,595mm). Compared to Wuling's model, VF 3 is 197mm longer. The company has been accepting deposits for VF 3 since September and is expected to deliver to Vietnamese customers in the third quarter of 2024.

According to VinFast, the electric vehicle product line and new technologies introduced to customers include the ADAS advanced driving assistance system with many updated features, driver and passenger monitoring system, Jelly View technology (360-degree panoramic view around the transparent car, can see through the car) and automatic mirror adjustment technology according to the driver's eyes, etc.

Ms. Quynh Tran (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) said her family wants to buy a new car but is confused about choosing a gasoline or electric car.

When the car company held an exhibition, Ms. Tran tried sitting in the cockpit and the rear seats to see the actual interior and exterior of the electric car. What caught her attention was the smart parking assistance technology and remote parking.

These two features make parking easier than ever by actively detecting parking spaces suitable for the vehicle's size, controlling the accelerator pedal forward and backward, and finding the appropriate steering angle to park the vehicle neatly in the shortest time.

"When women drive, the most difficult thing is reversing into a parking space. The technology on electric cars with this feature is suitable for my needs," said Ms. Tran.

Previously, in May, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of VinGroup (VinFast's parent company) - shared that VinFast's goal is to become an electric vehicle company with coverage in all product segments. The company does not ignore any product that the market needs.

By August, VinFast will produce enough electric vehicles from A to E to become the first electric vehicle company in the world to have a full range of products. Among them, Mr. Vuong shared that it will launch super small cars, one-door cars and cheap but very beautiful cars. VinFast's participation will certainly make the mini electric vehicle market especially exciting.
