This school year is expected to bring about breakthroughs, contributing to raising the profile of education in the province.
Proactively implement the new preschool education program.
One of the key tasks of the preschool education sector this academic year is to prepare the necessary conditions for the pilot implementation of the new Preschool Education Program in the 2026-2027 academic year. The preschool education sector will focus on and prioritize the preparation of resources and staff capacity for the selected pilot facilities.
Furthermore, in the 2025-2026 school year, preschool education will strengthen the integration of nutrition education with physical activity to promote balanced physical development in children, ensuring conditions and environments for children to engage in outdoor and indoor activities according to their daily routines. Other educational content such as human rights education, gender education, traffic safety, self-protection skills, and environmental protection will also be effectively integrated. The preschool education sector will also focus on developing educational facilities in industrial zones and export processing zones to provide access to quality education for the children of workers.
According to Ms. Truong Thi Van, Principal of Hoa Hue Kindergarten ( Binh Phuoc Ward), the most important focus of the school remains the enrollment of 5-year-old children, the implementation of universal kindergarten education for 3-year-olds, and achieving the set targets. The school's staff and facilities are relatively adequate to maintain all activities in the new school year. While the school currently lacks equipment for implementing smart classrooms, 100% of the classes have televisions and internet access. The school has also provided sufficient supplies and toys to ensure effective learning and activities for the children.
According to Nguyen Thi Kim Hue, Principal of Sao Khue Kindergarten (Trang Dai Ward): To proactively implement the new Early Childhood Education Program, the school has regularly trained its teachers on-site, and also learned from and exchanged experiences with other schools inside and outside the province. The school leadership regularly consults and studies educational models and methods from advanced countries to apply them appropriately to the school's conditions. As a result, the school's teachers can proactively adapt and change their teaching methods in accordance with the policies set forth by the Ministry of Education and Training .
The first school year of the “new era”
For general education, the important task remains to continue successfully implementing the 2018 General Education Program at the primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary levels. The Dong Nai education sector will promote the implementation of two-session-per-day teaching for primary education and at lower secondary and upper secondary schools that meet the prescribed conditions. Along with this, efforts will be made to strengthen the conditions for ensuring educational quality, develop the school network, build schools that meet national standards, invest in building boarding schools (according to the new model) in border communes; rationally allocate the teaching staff; and implement appropriate and timely solutions to support local authorities at the commune level in effectively managing state affairs in education in the context of administrative boundary mergers and the implementation of a two-tiered local government system.
Universities and colleges in the province are also proactively innovating teaching and learning methods. Dang Anh Tuan, Vice Rector of Dong Nai University (Tam Hiep Ward), enthusiastically shared: "The 2025-2026 academic year holds special significance. This is the first year the whole country will implement Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, dated August 22, 2025, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development. The resolution affirms that higher education is a breakthrough area, expanding comprehensive autonomy, prioritizing investment in excellence, aiming to build a modern, high-quality education system, and striving to have many universities in Vietnam meeting international standards by 2045."
Also in 2025, the country enters the "Era of Vietnam's National Struggle" - an era of aspirations for prosperous and happy development, as the entire Party, people, and army are determined to make Vietnam a developing country with modern industry and high middle income by 2030, and a developed country with high income by 2045.
“In the flow of history and aspirations, Dong Nai University is proud to be a part of the education and training of human resources for Dong Nai province and the whole country. In the new academic year 2025-2026, the university is determined to improve the quality of training according to national accreditation standards; open new majors suitable to the needs of socio-economic development; promote scientific research, innovation, and international cooperation; and at the same time, build a modern, friendly, humane educational environment, with learners at the center,” Mr. Tuan affirmed.
Promoting a spirit of self-confidence, creativity, and responsibility.
The new academic year 2025-2026 begins amidst the glorious historical spirit and the aspiration for national progress. I hope that students will cultivate a spirit of confidence, creativity, and responsibility, transforming aspirations into action, studying and training diligently to become outstanding citizens, contributing to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland. Every lesson you receive today is not only a foundation for your personal career but also a practical contribution to the nation's progress.

With the determination of leaders at all levels and all staff, teachers, and students, Dong Nai's education system will continue to achieve many successes, contributing to the overall development of the locality.
