"Grace of Birth 2024" spreads meaningful messages during Vu Lan season

Following the success of 2022 and 2023, the special art program with the theme "Grace of Birth" in 2024 will take place at 8:10 p.m. on August 15 at the Vietnam - Soviet Union Friendship Cultural Palace.

This year's event was organized on a large scale, gathering famous guest artists, bringing the audience unforgettable emotions, spreading a humane message on the occasion of Vu Lan season of filial piety.

The special art program "Grateful for Parents 2024" continues the series of gratitude activities across the country with music and drama, including 3 chapters: "Beloved Old Days", "Father's Love and Mother's Love" and "Prayer".

This year's program brings together famous artists: Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, Randy, Minh Quan, Ho Quynh Huong, Luu Huong Giang, Quach Mai Thy, Ai Phuong, Le Anh, Le Trang, Thai Son, Ngoc Khanh Chi.... and is hosted by MC couple Nguyen Khang - Hong Nhung.

The program brought immortal songs about maternal and paternal love such as "Mother Loves Child", "My Father" (Ho Quynh Huong), "Come Visit Mother" (Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi), "Gap Me Trong Mo" (Ngoc Khanh Chi)... along with many new songs such as "Den Gio Mem" (Ai Phuong), "Uoc Mo Cua Me" (Luu Huong Giang), "Cha Gia Roi Dung Khong" (Minh Quan)... with the participation of artist Randy who brought 2 songs he composed and performed himself called "Xin Loi Me" and "Cho Tin Cha".

The performances are all elaborately staged, touching the hearts of listeners, bringing the audience moments of tranquility and special emotions.

The play "Father and Son" directed by Duy Anh, performed by artists from the Youth Theater, tells the story of a son who made a mistake, rejecting his paralyzed father who had worked hard all his life as a "single father", raising his son alone. In the end, he realized that the sacred fatherly love is the most precious thing. Through that, the play brings a meaningful message, reminding that respect for parents is the root of love.

In addition, this year's program also brings a special report on the sideline activities of the program "Grateful for Parents", along with an exchange with 2 special guests: Mr. Le Quoc Thang - representative of Team Lee - a group of young people who used modern technology to restore photos of martyrs, sending them to heroic Vietnamese mothers; and Mr. Le Thanh Hai - representative of the group " Hanoi joins hands" consisting of young Gen Z people who brought 0-dong shelters to homeless elderly people in Hanoi.

Through the stories of the characters, the program once again spreads the profound message of the Vietnamese people's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude", "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree", which is a touching highlight, expressing the heart and responsibility of the young generation towards social issues.

Not stopping there, this year's "Parents' Grace" program also awarded 30 scholarships including 1 gift and 5 million VND in cash to children in difficult circumstances, with outstanding academic achievements and filial piety to grandparents and parents.

Through the activities and performances of "Parents' Grace" this year, the Organizing Committee hopes to convey a humane message through art, arouse the desire for peace , love and respect for parents; especially honor the heroic martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and remind the younger generations of gratitude and responsibility in the journey of growing up.

The program "Grateful for Parents" in 2024 has ended, but the echoes still resonate in the hearts of every audience, with quiet moments and thunderous applause. The success of "Grateful for Parents 2024" is the motivation for the Organizing Committee to continue the inspirational journey of a meaningful art program, which comes back every Vu Lan season to show gratitude to parents.
