Accordingly, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed a decision approving the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Le Van Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Nam province. This decision takes effect from July 3, 2024.

Previously, on the morning of June 21, Dai Doan Ket Online Newspaper reported that the People's Council of Quang Nam province, term X, 2021-2026, held its 23rd session to carry out personnel procedures according to its authority. Mr. Le Van Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Nam province, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, term 2021-2026 with 100% of the votes.

It is known that Mr. Le Van Dung was born on October 20, 1966, hometown Que Binh commune, Hiep Duc district, Quang Nam province. Professional qualifications: University of Agricultural Economics, Bachelor of Politics.

Before taking on the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, Mr. Le Van Dung had held the following positions: Secretary of the District Youth Union, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hiep Duc district, Chief of the Office of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Organization Department of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee.
