Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

(NLDO) - Before holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc was Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Long An province.

On the afternoon of February 19, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's Decision on personnel work.

The conference was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Van Nen - Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. Also attending were Mr. Phan Van Mai - Party Central Committee member, Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Party Central Committee member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Le - Deputy Secretary, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council ; Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee.

At the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi announced Decision No. 1918-QDNS/TW dated February 14 of the Politburo on the transfer, assignment and appointment to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

Accordingly, the Politburo decided that Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Long An province - ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025; transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi also announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee appointed Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

New Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Duoc was born in 1968; hometown is Luong Hoa commune, Ben Luc district, Long An province.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc has a political theory qualification: Senior; professional qualification: Master of Geology, Bachelor of Geology.
