HNN.VN - Within the framework of the 10th Session of the 8th City People's Council, term 2021-2026, on the morning of July 16, the City People's Council elected Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, City People's Council delegate to hold the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the City People's Council for the term 2021-2026.

At the meeting, the City People's Council also elected Mr. Tran Gia Cong, member of the City Party Committee, City People's Council delegate to hold the position of Head of the City People's Council's Legal Committee, term 2021 - 2026.

Previously, Mr. Ha Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council, presented a report on the proposal to remove Mr. Dang Ngoc Tran, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee from the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee and Head of the Legal Committee of the City People's Council for the 2021-2026 term. Along with that was a report introducing personnel to elect the positions of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee and Head of the Legal Committee of the City People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.

The meeting secretary also presented a draft Resolution on the termination of Mr. Dang Ngoc Tran's concurrent position as Head of the City People's Council's Legal Committee for the 2021-2026 term; presented a draft Resolution on confirming the election results of the position of Head of the City People's Council's Economic - Budget Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Phan Thien Dinh and Head of the City People's Council's Legal Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Tran Gia Cong.

Chairman of the City People's Council Le Truong Luu acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Mr. Dang Ngoc Tran during his tenure as Head of the Legal Committee of the City People's Council.

Mr. Luu said that this personnel restructuring aims to meet the requirements of organization arrangement, streamlining and gradually professionalizing the activities of the committees under the City People's Council.
