Solemn opening of the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly

On the morning of October 20, the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly opened at the National Assembly House. Before the opening ceremony, National Assembly deputies laid wreaths and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.

According to the meeting agenda, after the visit to President Ho Chi Minh , the National Assembly held a preparatory session.

After the speech of the National Assembly Chairman , National Assembly deputies listened to the National Assembly Standing Committee report on the reception, explanation and adjustment of the expected program of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Next, the National Assembly discussed and voted to approve the agenda of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At exactly 9:00 a.m., the 10th session of the National Assembly opened and was broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV1) and Voice of Vietnam (VOV1). The military band played the national anthem, and National Assembly deputies and attendees sang the national anthem at the opening ceremony.

After the announcement of the reasons and introduction of delegates attending the Session, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man delivered the opening speech of the Session.

Recently, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Government, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Secretary General of the National Assembly, the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees, the National Assembly delegations, the National Assembly deputies, the National Assembly Office and relevant agencies, organizations and individuals have urgently prepared the contents to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and decision at the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

According to the meeting agenda, the working time of the Session is 40 days with many important contents; the National Assembly has just carried out the contents of the regular session; at the same time, summarized the term of the 15th term. At this Session, the National Assembly will consider and decide on 66 contents and groups of contents (49 draft laws, 4 resolutions on legislative work; 13 groups of contents on socio-economics, State budget, supervision and other important issues).
