On February 18, with a majority of votes in favor, the National Assembly passed a resolution to elect Mr. Phan Van Mai, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, as a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee of the 15th National Assembly.

Regarding the resolution to elect Mr. Phan Van Mai as a member of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly, 446 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 93.31% of the total number of National Assembly delegates); 446 delegates approved (equal to 93.31% of the total number of National Assembly delegates).

Regarding the resolution to elect the Chairman of a number of Committees of the 15th National Assembly, including Mr. Phan Van Mai, 447 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 93.51% of the total number of National Assembly delegates); 447 delegates approved (equal to 93.51% of the total number of National Assembly delegates).

Previously, according to the decision, the Economic Committee and the Finance and Budget Committee of the 15th National Assembly were merged and named the Economic and Finance Committee .
