On the afternoon of February 20, the People's Committee of An Giang province held a ceremony to announce the Decisions on the establishment of specialized agencies and public service units under the Provincial People's Committee; to announce and hand over the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council to establish specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to merge the Management Board of Construction Investment Projects and Urban Development Areas and the Management Board of Construction Investment Projects of Transport and Agriculture into the An Giang Provincial Project Management Board.

At the same time, announce and hand over the Decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. Specifically: Appoint Mr. Nguyen Nhu Anh, Secretary of Thoai Son District Party Committee, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs, from March 1, 2025.

Appoint and transfer Mr. Pham Minh Tam, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Finance, from March 1, 2025.

Appoint and transfer Mr. Tran Minh Nhut, Director of the Department of Finance, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, from March 1, 2025.
