Khanh Hoa PC speeds up construction progress of 110kV power grid projects

According to the construction investment plan assigned by the Central Power Corporation, in 2025, Khanh Hoa PC will implement and put into operation 35 projects, including 7 110kV power grid projects. In addition to the completed projects, 5 110kV projects are currently being actively implemented in the province, including: Connecting the 110kV line after the 220kV Van Ninh substation; upgrading the 110kV Nha Trang - Dong De line; upgrading the 110kV Dien Khanh - Binh Tan line; upgrading the 110kV Nha Trang - Dien Khanh - Suoi Dau line; completing the relay protection system of 110kV stations. Of which, the two projects of 110kV line connection after Van Ninh 220kV substation and Nha Trang - Dong De 110kV line renovation are the first key projects in the province to be approved by competent authorities at the same time with the investor. These are also the two projects that EVNCPC registered to complete in 2025 with Vietnam Electricity Group.

After the investment policy was approved, PC Khanh Hoa actively coordinated with local agencies to complete the dossier, promote land acquisition, compensation, and support affected people to clear the site. At the same time, the Company proactively coordinated with the government to organize meetings with people, mobilize and persuade people to hand over the site. As a result, 100% of households related to the two above-mentioned projects agreed to sign the handover minutes.

Thanks to the consensus of the people, the construction process has been going smoothly. Currently, contractors are focusing on human resources, equipment, and taking advantage of favorable weather to speed up the progress. The underground construction part has been basically completed, and materials and equipment are being gathered at the construction site. The Company is expected to complete 2 projects in the third quarter of this year, including: Connecting the 110kV line after the 220kV Van Ninh substation (in August 2025) and Upgrading the 110kV Nha Trang - Dong De line (in September 2025).

When put into operation, these projects will improve the reliability of power supply, strengthen the 110kV grid connection, meet the demand for load growth, serve socio -economic development, national defense and security, and improve the quality of life of Khanh Hoa province's people. These are also the projects selected to have a signboard to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Central Power Corporation.
