A Man City fan posted on X: "The league is not ready for a Pep Guardiola with a neat moustache."
Another exclaimed: "What? The Premier League must be shaking in fear right now."
Pep himself hopes that changing his "look" will help Man City increase their motivation to conquer major tournaments next season.
Man City have only one pre-season friendly against Palermo on August 9. They will then begin their Premier League campaign with a trip to Wolves.
