Recently, some provinces and cities have experienced serious fires, causing loss of life and property of people, affecting the security and order of the locality. Among the causes of fires and explosions, electrical short circuits cannot be excluded. Although agencies, units and localities have actively implemented many electrical safety solutions, the situation of using electricity in daily life, production and business is still complicated, with potential risks of unsafety, electrical short circuits can lead to fire and explosion incidents.

The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, relevant units and the People's Committees of districts and cities to coordinate and effectively implement contents related to inspection and guidance on safe electricity use. Specifically, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with Dong Thap Electricity Company and relevant units to strengthen propaganda, inspection and guidance for people to use electricity safely and clearly understand their responsibilities in ensuring electrical safety.

The People's Committees of districts and cities direct the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns, specialized agencies, and local Electricity to coordinate and assign staff to inspect and guide people in managing and using electricity safely, overcoming the situation of using electricity improperly and not in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements; promptly correct and request people to overcome shortcomings, limitations, and potential risks of electrical safety; resolutely and strictly handle violations of legal regulations on electrical safety at business establishments, households, houses combined with production and business, especially in areas with high population density, boarding houses, shops, services, etc.

Dong Thap Electricity Company mobilizes maximum resources to coordinate with functional management agencies to "go to every alley, knock on every door" to inspect and guide people to manage and use electricity safely, overcome the situation of using electricity improperly, not according to the manufacturer's requirements; strengthen direction and maximize the role of the electricity inspector force in checking customers' electricity use (especially the implementation of regulations on electrical safety) in accordance with regulations; strictly review the conditions for safe electricity use before signing electricity supply contracts for organizations and individuals using electricity for daily life, production, business, etc.
