Finland and China compete in the final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival

After 4 nights of dramatic competition with performances by 8 fireworks teams from 8 countries, on the morning of June 30, the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival held a Jury meeting to select 2 teams for the final round. Attending the meeting, in addition to the Jury members who are famous musicians and artists, there were also Heads of Representatives of foreign diplomatic agencies in Vietnam and consultation from the consulting unit - Global 2000 Company.

DIFF 2024 Organizing Committee announced Finland and China teams in the finals

The 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival includes 8 fireworks teams from the United States, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, China and Vietnam. Through the selection based on the evaluation results of the Jury, based on the evaluation opinions of the consulting units, the Organizing Committee selected the 2 best teams of the qualifying round, Finland and China, to continue to compete in the final night taking place on the evening of July 13.

This is considered a result that most audiences expected after the excellent performance of these two teams at the final night of the qualifying round of the 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival on the evening of June 29.

The Chinese team's performance was impressive.

Musician Nguyen Duc Trinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians Association and member of the Jury of the 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, said: “For the first time, the final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival will have two teams representing Asia and Europe competing together. This time, in particular, the two teams from Asia and Europe will bring us unique and interesting experiences.”

According to the draw results, in the final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024, the Chinese fireworks team performed first, followed by the Finnish team. Immediately after the announcement ceremony,Sun Group continued to invite members of the Finnish and Chinese teams to stay and visit Da Nang. The champion team of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024 will receive a prize worth 20,000 USD along with a trophy and certificate, while the runner-up team will receive a prize worth 10,000 USD along with a trophy and certificate.

The award for the most favorite fireworks team of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024, voted by the audience, will be worth 5,000 USD and a certificate. This year, with unique and creative performances from the competing teams, the Organizing Committee has decided to add the Creativity Award with a prize of 5,000 USD and a certificate. The awards will be announced and presented immediately after the performance on the final night.

Ms. Nadia Shakira Wong, Director of Global 2000 Fireworks Consulting Company, the event producer of the 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, said: “Right now, our team will immediately start preparing, cleaning the shooting site, and preparing the fireworks warehouse.

We support the two teams with issues related to information on the final night, travel, accommodation... We provide them with a list of fireworks for the two teams to prepare for their competition.... This will be a huge challenge for the teams, but currently the members of the two teams are very excited."
