Group B will retain the same 3 teams as before: U22 Vietnam, Laos and U22 Malaysia. However, this group will move the competition venue from Songkhla to Bangkok.

Regarding the women's football content, the SEA Games 33 Organizing Committee has not mentioned any changes. That means the competition tables for this content will not change.
Group A, which used to have 4 teams including the Thai, Singaporean, Indonesian and Cambodian women's teams, now has only 3 teams after the Thai women's football team withdrew from the tournament.
Group B will retain the same 4 teams including the women's football teams of Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines and Malaysia. The women's football event will take place in Chonburi.
