Phan Tan Loc - A shining example of "Uncle Ho's good nephew" in the whole province

As a student of class 7A3, Thien Ngon Secondary School, Tan Bien District, Phan Tan Loc was honored as an outstanding "Uncle Ho's Good Grandchild" of Tay Ninh Province for the period 2020-2025, and was also one of the delegates representing the province's children to attend the 10th National Uncle Ho's Good Grandchildren Congress.

Student Phan Tan Loc won the gold medal in men's chess at the Phu Dong Sports Festival of Tan Bien district, school year 2024-2025.

Born and raised in Tan Thanh Hamlet, Tan Binh Commune, Tan Bien District, Loc is a member of the Union Command Committee, always exemplary in all activities. For 5 consecutive years (2020-2025), he has continuously achieved the title of excellent student, good training; successfully completed the Team Member Training program, and is a typical example in the emulation movement "Speaking good words, doing good deeds" of Tay Ninh children.

In particular, in 2023, he was awarded the "Hero of a Thousand Good Deeds" certificate by the Central Council of the Young Pioneers and was one of the outstanding young delegates attending the 60th anniversary celebration of the "Thousand Good Deeds" movement nationwide in Bac Ninh province. In the same year, he also received a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province for his outstanding achievements in the Young Pioneers' work and the young pioneers' movement. This is a testament to Loc's spirit of learning, training, caring, sharing and being responsible for the community.

Not only is Loc a good student, he is also a talented chess player. For 4 consecutive years from the 2020-2021 school year to the 2024-2025 school year, he won 4 gold medals at the Phu Dong Sports Festival at the district level; 1 bronze medal at the Phu Dong Sports Festival at the provincial level. In addition, he also won 1 silver medal, 4 bronze medals and many other awards in the U13 and U15 men's team events organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and the men's blitz and rapid chess team events organized by the Vietnam Chess Federation.

In addition, I also won the Second Prize in the 2024 Tan Bien District Chess Championship, the Encouragement Prize in the "Thousand Good Deeds" photo contest organized by the Provincial Youth Union, and the 8th Book Drawing Contest. I am also a member of the Tan Bien District Children's Council, representing the voice of children in conferences and dialogues with local leaders.

Phan Tan Loc's achievements have demonstrated his study following Uncle Ho's teachings: "Young people do small jobs, according to their strength." He not only studies well and trains well, but also lives with ideals, always actively contributes to social activities, spreading patriotism, compassion and community responsibility in today's generation.

His outstanding achievements and constant efforts deserve to be recognized, commended and become a shining example for the team members and children in the whole district to learn and follow. This is also a clear result for the effectiveness of the work of educating children and nurturing the young generation of the Party, the Youth Union, and the Young Pioneer Council at all levels in the period of national renewal and development.
