Phan Thiet: Nearly 400 women's groups participate in protecting women and children

In order to propagate, educate, mobilize and support women to participate in solving a number of social issues related to women, from 2023 to 2025, the Phan Thiet City Women's Union has established 399 groups, teams and clubs.

Including 18 safety models for women and children, 91 sustainable family development clubs, 133 domestic violence prevention groups, and 157 domestic violence prevention and control consulting groups.

Women's Union gives gifts to children

Through group, group and club activities, members and women have been supported with legal knowledge on gender equality, gender imbalance at birth, reproductive health care, prevention of child sexual abuse, prevention of fraud in cyberspace, black credit, and readiness to speak up against acts of violence... Thanks to that, the authorities have promptly detected and spoken up to protect, support, resolve and help 97 cases related to child abuse, domestic violence, abandoned children, children with injuries and 12 women have received timely advice and support on marriage and family.
