- On the afternoon of November 11, the Tax Department of 5 Lang Son provinces organized the launching ceremony of the campaign "60 peak days of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households".

According to data from the Base Tax 5, the unit currently manages about 6,800 business households paying lump-sum tax (of which about 4,500 households reach the tax threshold), 450 households declare. This is the Base Tax unit that manages the most business households in the province.

On October 31, 2025, the Tax Department issued Decision No. 3352/QD-CT on promulgating the Plan "60 peak days of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households", starting from November 1, 2025.

Implementing the direction of the superiors, the Tax Department 5 has developed a specific plan to convert the model and method of tax management for business households when eliminating lump-sum tax. In particular, the tax authority focuses on promoting propaganda to taxpayers in many forms; making a list of converted business households; implementing surveys and comparing the business household database.

According to the roadmap, tax authorities must complete the conversion of at least 35% of the number of business households that must be converted before November 30, 2025; complete the conversion of at least 90% of the number of business households before December 15, 2025 and resolve outstanding cases and difficulties that have not yet been converted, ensuring 100% completion in 2025, ensuring that business households apply the method of self-declaration and self-payment of taxes from January 1, 2026.
