Recently, in Ha Long City (Quang Ninh), the Organizing Committee announced the launch of the Miss University Vietnam 2024 contest. This is the largest contest ever to be implemented synchronously throughout the entire Vietnamese education system, with an expected number of more than 660 universities, academies, and colleges.

At the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Du, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, shared that the "Miss Vietnamese Student 2024" contest comes from the desire to honor the beauty of knowledge, the noble values of the Education - Training sector, and towards the perfect beauty of people in general and the young generation in particular who are at the most beautiful age of their lives.
It is necessary to create models with perfect beauty in knowledge, body and spirit through the contest. This will encourage and promote the spirit of learning, create positive energy and inspiration, contribute to forming a life perspective towards Truth - Goodness - Beauty, knowing how to love and share, creating a good personality towards perfection for all students.
Accompanying this year’s Miss Student contest are members with professional experience in the fields of culture and arts. The judges and guest artists participating in the program include model Ha Anh, Miss Le Hoang Phuong, runner-up Huong Ly, etc.
21 contestants representing more than 600 female students across the country participated in the photo contest with delegates.
According to Mr. Du, the contest promotes comprehensive beauty, from knowledge, intelligence, spirit to physical strength, beauty and youthful vitality of Vietnamese female students.
The contest aims to widely promote and spread the good values, the beauty of Vietnamese culture and people, of which Vietnamese students are a part, to the domestic public and international friends; to promote cultural, economic , educational and tourism exchanges at home and abroad. At the same time, the contest allows Vietnamese female students to take practical actions to contribute to helping the community and society for a better life.
Besides, the contest is also a practical activity, implementing the movement "I love my Fatherland", the campaign "5 Good Students" of the Vietnam Student Association.
"The contest aims to effectively carry out the movements of Vietnamese youth and students, towards celebrating the 30th anniversary of Ha Long Bay being recognized by UNESCO as a world natural heritage (December 17, 1994 - December 17, 2024)," said Mr. Du.
The contest began accepting online applications from August 1 and ended on the final night of December 21. Miss Student Vietnam lasted more than 4 months, promising to bring memorable memories to the contestants, thereby conveying a meaningful message about the beauty of the mind - spirit - strength of Vietnamese women.
