The main content of the contest includes listening, reading, vocabulary, and English communication questions at different levels depending on each exam board; specialized English for each target group; knowledge about Vietnamese youth organizations; activities and programs of youth organizations and associations; knowledge about the Youth Law and the Youth Development Strategy for the period 2021 - 2030.

In addition, there is knowledge about important events in the country's history; about key leaders of the Party and State; typical senior leaders of the Party and State; the economic - political, cultural, social, historical situation of Vietnam and the world; diplomatic relations between Vietnam and countries around the world, international organizations of which Vietnam is a member.

The contest is organized in 3 rounds, after round 1 of online multiple choice test in 4 weeks, 45 candidates with high achievements will continue to participate in the semi-final round to select 15 excellent candidates to participate in the final round scheduled to be held in August 2025.
