Launching the movement "All people join hands to protect the environment"

The Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee has just issued a document directing the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television, and the Party Committees of communes and wards, according to their functions and tasks, to urgently direct the serious and effective implementation of the Prime Minister's instructions in Official Dispatch No. 134 on promoting waste collection, protecting and maintaining environmental sanitation nationwide towards the 80th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

In Official Dispatch No. 134, the Prime Minister requested: Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities   Urgently organize and implement the launching of the movement "All people join hands to protect the environment", participate in the general environmental cleaning to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; strengthen communication, raise awareness and responsibility of each citizen in environmental protection. Propaganda, mobilize people to commit and voluntarily and actively maintain environmental hygiene in their homes, alleys, residential areas, public areas, do not litter, dump garbage indiscriminately, dump garbage in the right place, at the right time; direct and mobilize local socio -political organizations, in which the Youth Union, Women's Union, Veterans Association, Farmers' Association... act as the core to organize, guide, supervise and implement the movement in residential areas and public areas; Review and arrange appropriate garbage collection locations, public trash bins, equipment, and means of collecting and transporting waste in residential areas, markets, bus stations, schools, entertainment areas, especially at locations where activities and events are held to celebrate the anniversary; direct competent authorities to strengthen inspection, supervision, and strictly handle violations of environmental protection regulations, especially littering...

Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam , Vietnam News Agency, Nhan Dan Newspaper and central and local news agencies and newspapers are responsible for increasing the amount of propaganda time on environmental sanitation work to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; creating a strong spread, motivating, calling on, and encouraging people to actively participate and enjoy the results.
