Promote the spirit of youth and enthusiasm

Our country is in a period of accelerating industrialization, modernization and international integration. The innovation process has achieved extremely important achievements, but in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution, the digital transformation process is taking place strongly... requiring continued breakthroughs to develop and strengthen the country.

Young people firmly hold guns to firmly protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

That reality requires a dynamic, creative generation…and the young generation is the force that meets this requirement. In the process of leading the country, our Party always promotes the role and position of the youth, considering them as the revolutionary shock force. The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is the Party’s reliable reserve force.

To promote the role of youth, the Party has proposed many policies to train and nurture the young generation, building them into a loyal and trustworthy force, continuing the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party.

And in fact, the majority of the youth force today is in the Youth Union and the Youth Association. Through the movements, patriotism and revolutionary ideals have been fostered in the young generation. The current generation of youth has the qualifications, enthusiasm, and is ready to take on difficult and arduous tasks, in the front lines, on remote islands, to fulfill the sacred duty of protecting the Fatherland.

In all fields, the youth have left a strong mark. In the field of science and technology, many young people are passionate about research, achieving high achievements, and making their names on the world science map. Many new technology fields also have the participation of young Vietnamese scientists, in which many scientific works are applied in practice, bringing great efficiency to society.

In factories and enterprises, young workers also promote the spirit of creative labor, with many technical innovations that help increase labor productivity, save production costs, and improve production and business efficiency. The young labor force in enterprises is making an important contribution to promoting economic growth, creating a lot of material wealth for society. Many young people have started businesses with new models, applying high technology to production... bringing high economic efficiency.

In the medical field, young doctors uphold medical ethics, wholeheartedly treat patients, and contribute to improving people's health. In the educational field, teachers work day and night on lesson plans, educating students to become good people...

The most prominent mark of youth is the volunteer movement. All over the country, there are footprints of youth volunteering, especially activities that benefit the community. Through these meaningful activities, youth union members have the opportunity to contribute, practice and grow.

However, besides the class of young people who live with ideals and responsibility to the community, there is still a small group of young people who are indifferent to everything, selfish, have a hedonistic lifestyle, follow the crowd, and are easily drawn into social evils.

This situation requires the Youth Union at all levels to strengthen political education, ideology, and revolutionary ideals; continue to perfect mechanisms, policies, and laws for young people to develop themselves. In addition, it is necessary to promote the active training of ethics and lifestyle in fulfilling responsibilities for themselves of young people; build patriotism, national pride, and readiness to volunteer to fight to protect the Fatherland, and be ready to take on difficult and arduous tasks.

Each member and youth must make efforts and practice their own awareness, perception and action to enhance their social responsibility. Only when the youth clearly realize this will they have the motivation to contribute to the community and the country.

When we have built a generation of Vietnamese youth who are comprehensively developed, patriotic, self-reliant, and proud of their nation; who have revolutionary ideals, ambitions, and aspirations to build a prosperous and happy country; who have ethics, civic awareness, and law-abidingness; who are healthy; who are cultural; who have knowledge of science and technology; who have life and career skills; who are determined to establish themselves and their careers; who are dynamic and creative, and who at the same time promote the pioneering spirit and enthusiasm of this group, the important goals set will not be difficult to achieve.
