(BL-TT) On the afternoon of May 28, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a ceremony to receive funding for the Program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in the province. Attending and receiving the funding delegation were Ms. Pham Thi My Linh and Mr. Huynh Van Thang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
At the ceremony, Bac Lieu Province Power Company, authorized by the Southern Power Corporation, provided support for the “Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses” Program with a total amount of VND900 million. With this support, the province will review and support 15 households in the province with difficult housing circumstances, each house will be supported with VND60 million.
Receiving and expressing gratitude to the sponsor, Vice President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Pham Thi My Linh briefly informed about the implementation of the Program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in the province in the past time. Specifically, up to this point, the province has completed phase 1 with 1,758 newly built and repaired houses with a total cost of over 104 billion VND. Currently, the province is implementing the second phase of the program with 568 newly built houses and 211 houses in need of renovation and repair with a total cost of over 40 billion VND, expected to be completed before July 1, 2025. Therefore, the province also hopes to receive the companionship and support of businesses, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to share with people facing housing difficulties to have a solid home, creating motivation for them to rise up in life...
